The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index was down 9.70 points or 0.65% to close at 1,487.20 points today. The SET50 index ended at 943.39 points, down 6.83 points or 0.72%, in trade worth 34.59 billion baht. The MAI index went down 12.61 points or 2.19% to close at 562.33 points with total transaction value of 3.28 billion baht. Local institutions and foreign investors were net buyers of 1.59 billion baht and 422 million baht respectively. Brokers and retail investors were net sellers of 1.19 billion baht and 825 million baht respectively.
